Camp Leavenworth 5K Run & Walk
Now in its 5th year!
Run or walk closed-to-traffic streets through historic downtown Leavenworth with stunning views from the bluffs above the Missouri River.

Walkers and strollers welcome. No bikes or dogs (service animals excepted). Runners 14+ can register solo; anyone under 14 must run with a parent or guardian.
The Course
Start and finish at Choctaw and S 2nd Street. An out-and-back north loop through Bob Dougherty Park, then south along S 2nd to Linn, up Elm to South Esplanade for river-bluff views, and back downhill to the finish.
Check-In

Free lots within a block or two of the start line throughout downtown Leavenworth.
Water and Gatorade available at mile 1 and mile 3.
Runners start first, walkers follow, stroller division starts last. Walkers please stay right so runners can pass.
Awards & Prizes
Following the 5K, join us for an awards ceremony celebrating our top finishers! Every finisher takes home a medal, and age-group and overall winners will be recognized on stage.
